I have a 1985 fun chaser my LP hot water tank went out at night and now I can get no gas any ideas?

Maybe the regulator on your propane tank failed? (Assumes the tank is not just empty.)

Lacking any normal mechanical failure, are you SURE you have LP in the tank? Sorry, but I had to ask. The pilot light goes out, and then it won't light again.....hmmmmm.

The pilot light may not be lighting due to being plugged, or, because it's not being lit correctly too. (But, I'd certainly check the tank itself for propane.)
