Default New Owner of 2003 17'er

been reading and learning lots. Thanks to all that share their knowledge.
It's very helpful. Not to pester, but going to ask 4 questions, could ask alot more. . . but don't want to tick anyone off.
1 Wondering about suggestions on where to get a replacement awning, the one I have is weathered.
2 Weight of the upper bunk? I was planning on removing it.
3 told the refrig. never worked?? Wondering if maybe it has to be level and if there's a 3 way switch? Also, is it illegal, or a bad idea, to use gas on frig while driving?
4 have 2 batteries, and wondering how they get re-charged? I know they may charge a little while driving from truck, but is their a converter that will charge them if I am plugged into electricity.
thanks :-)

Howdy, g2welch and welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase; you've come to the right place to get your questions answered!

I'll give your questions my best shot but others will hopefully chime in.

1. One possible supplier is Camping World but shop around on the internet for prices once you find the model you need.

2. My owner's manual says it weighs 80 lbs. Not sure if yours is the same size or not.

3. Fridge needs to be pretty level to operate properly in any of the different modes. It's an RV fridge thing. Don't recommend traveling with the gas on, especially in a HiLo.

4. You should have a converter/ charger in your unit somewhere. Others that have the same model as you can direct you where to look
