New purchase, 2505C

My wife and I just purchased the model listed above, private sale. The previous owners purchased this unit new in May of 2007, it has a build date of Dec., 2004. My question, (the first, anyway) the empty weight given on the title and in the book is around 4,800 lbs, but the label on the driver's side front of the trailer gives the weight as around 3,800 lbs. Which is correct? I think it may be the lower value, near the door is a decal identifying the trailer as having a light weight aluminum frame. Also, we towed it from far western Iowa back to Illinois with a 2011 Ford F-150 and it seemed very light in spite of the nearly 40 mph winds.

We have had 2 other Hi-Lo products in the past, a 90's 21' Funlite and a 2000 something 22' Towlite. We liked both but went to travel trailers as the prices seemed so high on the Hi-Lo's. We now have a 16' Fleetwood Avalon pop up and the 25' Hi-Lo. Anything good or bad about this particular year and style of Hi-Lo?
Thanks in advance, Chuck Bos

The label weight of 3800 is usually the base weight with out options, the 4800 is probably high, when I went to title mine I didn't take a brochure with me and the guy said take a guess, which is what I did and I wasn't quite right. So what's on my title is wrong. If you want the actual weight, get it weighed. The brochure is close, but options can change things.

Page 6 has some of the optional equipment weights.
