New Siding

Not now the rebuild is taking everything I have money and energy wise, but later I would like to replace several pieces of aluminum siding on my camper, The previous owner took the siding off and threw it in a pile so it got bent up and several areas were bent pretty bad enough to where places on it have rips. I have lexell calked for now any holes or rips. Where do you get new siding?? Or can you?. I am assuming that it would need to be painted which isn't a big deal.

This is just something I would like to do over the winter months.

Thanks for the time.

Need Aluminum siding for Towlite

You could ask JR in Ohio if they have any. Do a search on the internet.

Lengle,

Our Hi Lo has fiberglass siding but it also has an aluminum roof. Right after I did my roof repair as reported in previous posts, my next door neighbor came over to see the completed job. He is a building contractor in Wisconsin and specializes in very large metal buildings. The first thing he asked me is why did I go to all that trouble? He said he could have shipped me the very same aluminum roofing and nail strips [identical] to what was on the roof. Had I known it would have saved a lot of work [and money]. Now, I don't know if the aluminum siding is the same as the roof but it might be worthwhile checking with a builder who specializes in metal buildings.
