There should be a built in charger. What year and model Hi-Lo do you have? If the forum knows this then someone can tell you where the charger is located, they were not put in the same place. Also do you have a volt meter and know how to use it?

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. One way to see if you have a onboard power supply and if it is working is as follows. You will need a voltmeter for this. Assuming you have a good battery charged up unplug the rv power cord from house current. Raise and lower the top 1 or two times or turn all your interior lights and vent fan for aprox 20 min. This pulls the battery down. Next turn everything off. Check the voltage at the battery, Should be 12volts DC or so. Next plug into your hose current. The voltage at the battery should now have increased another 11/2 to 2v reading around 13 1/2v to 14v showing that the power supply is now charging up the battery. From what I have read here on the forum the power supplys seem to be very reliable. Again as PopRichie said please fill out your profile and signature so we know what model Hi-Lo you have, your tow vehicle and the state you live in. Much easier to give advice if these are known. Some early model Hi-Lo's I understand did not come with a power supply.
