Hello to all, My name is Gary, I'm a retired Elevator mechanic and have just acquired a 1985 2185D HiLo Funchaser. 20 years ago I had a 27 ft travel trailer so it's been some time back that I was in to the trailer life!
This HiLo looks great to be 28 years old!
It needs all new cables, the pump works but now has a leak in the steal line right the pump housing box.
I have jacked the top up and brace were needed for safety.
Doe's the top half have a steal frame work are is it a all wood frame?
All in all, I think this is going to be a fun new toy to tinker with!

PS I live in Long Beach, MS
Hobbies: restoring vintage motorcycles
1946 Indian Cheif
1979 Harley FXE

Welcome newbe/Gary.
I also have a 1985 funchaser.
I have rebuilt most things on my trlr at this point.
Dragged it to Florida last year for a 3 month trip from Nevada.
Passed thru Ms.
The top has a metal structure but also some wood.

Gary contact J&R for current pricing, but they are not very expensive.
I strongly recommend that you replace all 4 as a set. They have all of the measurements for your trlr.
