Default Outside light on hi-lo stays on

I have my Towlite in my driveway. It is not plugged in. The only little OUTSIDE light on the right side stays on. It Is up high on the side. Is there a way to turn this off. Must be coming from the battery hookup? That is the only source of power.

What was the last part? The inside switch controls the outside light on the side of the rig?

tinovack - Check the wall (or maybe under a cabinet) beside the door. If you find an unmarked switch there, it probably controls the light.

Failing that, look for an unmarked switch anywhere.

Ok. I will look. I don't recall ever turning it on or even seeing a switch. There is an unmarked switch on the front wall next to the shower but that is off. So this light that is on must be connected to the battery.

Omg. I just found the switch. Just like you both said...upon entering the rig it was under the cabinet high up on my right. Thank goodness I thought I had a short or something. This hi-lo keeps proving itself.

Yeah that switch does not seem to work. I tried changing the bulb in the shower and it still does not turn on. The wiring may be loose or something.

My 2001 19TL has a master switch near the floor where the raise and lower switch is. If that master switch is in the middle (neutral) position, then nothing will be energized. That's the way you need to leave it parked. Also make sure your Fridge is in the Off position.

The middle position of the Master Switch is also the "tow" position, which keeps everything BUT the refrigerator from working. In this position, the top cannot accidentally lift while you're underway, and, other electrical systems that could cause problems (such as a fire due to a short circuit) are also disabled.

I only speak of switch on back wall probably 3feet/ Head high from shower light..

Nothing to do with Master at entry at floor level...other than power comes from (through it to feed camper lights)

and yes J&J and WNDS are correct about Master at floor/entry

Just tryin to clarify myself
