porch light

I can't figure out how I can shut off the porch light next to my camper door. I've looked all over for an on/off switch, but it's not in an obvious place. Can anyone tell me where it might be? I have a 2004 Tow lite, 22'. Just purchased it 3 months ago.

Thanks in advance for your help. Ken

My 2408T has a switch for this light under the upper cabinets that are next to the door. The switch is mounted horizontally on the underside of the cabinet. Your trailer may have something similar.

thats also where mine are.

I accidentally discovered I had a porch lite while sitting on the camper floor and looking up ...hmmm, what's that switch doing hiding on the bottom of a cabinet?

grammer: mine are/ mine was

We have switches on both the light and under the cabinet. So if you try to turn the light on from under the cabinet and it doesn't light check the outside switch to be sure it is turned on.

Light on

Has to be said,, that's one good battery, if you have owned that hilo for three months and that light has been on all of this time.
Good Luck with it.

I just checked my outdoor light ...

I didn't see a switch, but ...
even on my tippie toes I couldn't touch this light.

If there is a switch it should be on the underside. Similar to this:Porch Lights from Bargman RV for Sale - PPL Motor Homes

can you reach

this outside porch light switch?

RichR 06-30-2013 10:19 PM

I can reach it if I am standing in the doorway or when the top is down.

This is where my light switch is. (look for the black arrow) Right when you walk through the door, it should be under the left cabinet.

That's a TINY black arrow, camper! :D You might want to use a contrasting color like yellow next time.

I too had trouble finding it

and the arrow; please note, yours is to the left (as you enter) but mine is to the right.

Also, yours appears to be a toggle switch. Mine is a rocker.

I've got 2201 and that is about where mine is located, also. just another rocker switch on the cabinet or upper wall on curbside rear half next to door.

Most switch configurations (rocker, spade, push button, etc.) come in "on/off" or "momentary on". These rocker switches happen to be the "on/off" type.

Because mine Rocks!

The Stones, the Dorrs, CCR, Janice, J Airplane, etc ...

RichR 07-02-2013 07:31 PM

Counting them up, there are fourteen rocker switches in/on our 2310H, and Rock'n'Roll on the radio.

Wrascal 07-02-2013 07:43 PM

I'm fortunate here

in that my local radio station plays only oldies/ WOAB, 104.9, And in the truck I can get another excellent station that's about 30 miles away. It's almost always on during the daytime.
One of their ads exclaims that WOAB stands for Wow, oldies are back.

This link pre-dates me, but is most worthy of that definition:

I have no idea how many switches I have.

Wrascal 07-02-2013 07:55 PM

I wonder if ...

I scared off the original poster to this topic, I see that he's not been back.
Hey Ken, come on back, I'm mostly harmless.
