Question for those in the know about the AC

Here is my question, the AC will work when plugged in at home to my 115 plug via my 30 amp with the cord to reduce it, will it work also with my 2300 generator that has a running of 1800? Funny my old trailer would not run on the generator but would on the home current. But I read that the AC is a 600 but I am not sure what that means can someone enlighten me?

I think the only way to know is to try it. The starting current pull will likely be the make or break point for operating the A/C on the generator. 2300 Watts is going to be VERY close to the lower limit on the power that the A/C needs.

If you were plugged into a 15 Amp circuit at home, it would deliver 1800 Watts for starting, which seems low to me. If, however, you were plugged into a 20 Amp circuit, it would have been able to deliver 2400 Watts at 120 Volts. My guess is, you are using a 20 Amp circuit.

I have no idea what the 600 number refers to.
