Default Refrigerator On when down

Well , I left the refrigerator on overnight with the top down. This was before I read to not do that for over an hour if it’s not moving. It is not cooling consistently now. Did I burn it up? It was hot when I raised it back up…
First time Hilo owners.

Sounds like you need to upgrade your air flow on the refrigerator

The original design it not very good
Replace the thermistor that is clipped to the fins on the inside of the refrigerator
Install a larger cfm axial fan or 2 fans on the back of the refrigerator
Install a larger blade louvre on the outside of trailer ( I fabricated one myself)
Install a waterproof axial fan on a separate switch to the cooling fins on the inside of the refrigerator

I would replace the thermistor first it’s not reading the correct temp of the refrigerator
But its important to do what I listed above to work as well as mine

Agree 100 percent, I did the same though my thermister was fine. Works great up, down, moving or not.
