Sorry, Tr - I can't help with the roof question. Mine's aluminum and I know nothing about a rubber roof.

I suspect if you do an online search, you'd find products that are designed for rubber roof cleaning chores. And, someone may come on here and give you their thoughts.

What to clean a rubber roof with.

Our RV dealer told us to use straight Tide without any perfume or dies. However I couldn't find this. Then I remembered I had a box of Dirtex wall and floor wash. This should be available at your local hardware store. You mix two tbsp in warm water. This will wash without leaving a film. Wash the roof and let it dry. Then if you need to recoat the roof you are ready to do this.

Thanks, I’ll give that a try in the spring. My Hi Lo is winterized and tucked away in an Amish barn until March.

Want to clean the rubber roof, do you have a favorite product.

I've used the first and second ones on this list. I think I had purchased at Camping World. You can probably find it cheaper at Walmart.

How do I know if the roof on my 24' 2001 Hi-Lo Towlite is rubber? The look and the feel?

That's how I know mine's aluminum. It has a hard, rigid, pebble texture. I think a rubber roof would have a tiny bit of "softness" and would be quite smooth.

Is there a way to submit a photo of my roof?

JackandJanet 10-29-2019 02:24 PM

Sure - take a picture, transfer it to your PC and then attach it using the "Manage Attachments" button in the Additional Options section of the "Reply to Thread" choice in this thread. Your picture can be uploaded from your PC to the thread that way.
