It depends on what year and models you are talking about. The classics had steel or aluminum framing, and the early Towlites had wood then switched to aluminum prior to 2000. If you go to the reference library and look through the various brochures you will see illustrations of the framing and wall construction. As far as welding the joints, I don't know.
