Teaser Photo on starting Ceiling repair

Not much to say except I cut 3/4 x 1 strips out of a 2x6 on the table saw and made frameworks to bolt and glue to the steel beams. There are 3 pieces of 1/8 lauan on the ceiling, all edges are sitting on metal beams and not being held up by the wood strips. Next on to installing the foam insulation and then covering with 1/8 lauan.

Roof repair
Half the battle is just getting started. Could you use pop rivets to attach into the metal studs? This might be helpful .Mark Polk from Rv education 101 did a ten part series on rebuilding a 1967 Yellowstone trailer. Maybe worth taking a look at as he installed a rubber roof. We finished our inside restoration and just have a few more windows to take out and reinstall. A few more items on the punch list. Keep us pposted.
