Tongue jack tube size

I have a model 2209T Hi-Lo. Does anyone know off hand what size the tongue jack is? I'm going to replace the manual hand crank tongue jack with a power one.

Some of the models fit 2", others fit 2 1/4". And a few say the fit both.

Thanks

Power Jack

Atlee,

I installed a Barker 3000# jack with a 2" diameter post for our 2406T. Your Hi Lo is newer but I don't think they would have changed the size of the mount during that time. The change out was fast and easy.

This will be money well spent(a great splurge.) Search the internet for the best price or a sale.

Bought a Barker VIP 3000 today. Supposedly it fits both a 2" and 2 1/2" diameter post hole.

I got the Barker for two reasons. 1) From all I've read, it's reputation is 1st class. 2) It's made here in the USA. Could have gotten a lot of others for less, but they are made overseas, with most coming from China.

Apparently the newest Atwood is made in the States, but all the other Atwoods are made in China.

Power jack

Ours came with a power jack and it was squeaky so we put in a new one and let the RV mechanic have it. We didn't know anything about power jacks as we had come from owning a popup. Now we would have known to take it apart and probably would have just needed a little grease. SO be sure to save your paper work and follow the maintenance instructions. I could never work in a Rv place or car mechanics. It isn't in my blood to Screw anyone. You will have many years of good service from your power jack.
