towing with wet walls
Just found a leak in the camper and we have to replace some of the walls and ceiling. We have our big camping trip in two weeks and we wont be able to get the work done by then. If we fix the roof will the sides and ceiling be ok to tow they are soft but not bowing and we will fix it later in the summer

If the roof is fixed for your next camping trip, I dont see why you couldn't tow it, the structure integrity is in the frame behind the walls, unless the walls are warped and may interfer with raising and lowering the top half.

Thanks the insurance adjusted just looked at it and we need to take it in for an estimate I'm keeping my fingers crossed because he said they might total it because they are expensive to fix but he was going on about taking. Apart the lower cabinets but there is no damage to the lowe half it was down when the water got in and he had no clue what the value is. Getting an accurate valhue is my job for today

Check the NADA guide for the value. The price is a little bit higher in the guide than what they are really worth. (If you are buying!)

Thank you I haven't been able to find a price I have a 2000 towlite and it said towlites weren't made till 2003
I am getting a qoute from a dealer that was recommended from one of the members but he said side walls are expensive and it will probably be totaled if that's the case we will be doing the work ourselves because I really like hill and there aren't any in our area in our price range and I am not willing to give it up |
