rail guide
84 Funchaser. Found a track guide on the ground. From left rear rail. I cannot figure how to screw the guide back onto the inside of top half of trailer without taking the top off. Anyone out there have this experience?

If you are talking about the plastic glide block? answer back.

Rick,
Yes, the plactic guide/block that slides along the track. It has a groove for the track, four screw holes and is black. The other three guides seem to be intact so I don't think missing this one is too big a deal. Thanks, Jeff |
To replace, put top up and all glide rails have to be removed, both sides. Then lower top and pry the top over and block, with a 90degree screw driver replace the glide block. Lift top up and replace all glide rails, job done. This is how JR repair does it, I have also done it, a little tough to do but possible.
