Default vacation report

The day of our departure I realized the seal on upper door at the bottom was crumbling. Wiped out my lt. Blue upholstery material and some grey weather stripping foam. Fabed a case up on my sewing machine. DH had the hardest part in prying the metal strip apart to release the old material. He was able to put it all back together and it matches the homemade replacement on the screen door. Five glorious days of very good weather with a few sprinkles and only one Hr. of rain. Most nights were cool enough for a campfire. The state park was very quiet. Our days were spent at Darien Lake Theme Park for a special event called Kingdom Bound. One youth group camped for one night and they forgot matches and didn't know how to use their coleman stove. We helped out. Then I realized the young adults didn't have warm clothes so I emptied out my wardrobe. They were poor inner city kids. The leader only brought PoP Tarts for breakfast. DH cooked the better part of a box of pancake mix and I had some breakfast sausage and Hot Chocolate for them. Love out oven in the HiLo. Every time we go out we have some repairs to do. A few hooks came off the middle privacy curtain at the bathroom door. I have some spare hooks. Then the Freezer door seemed like it lost its spring action. I have the paper work on our ref. When I get untired from mountains of laundry I will get the parts needed. Last DH needs to either adjust the loose cables or do the Top half creep repair. Still love our HiLo and everything else worked great.

What a pair of excellent troopers, coming to the rescue of inexperienced campers. Glad your trip worked out.

Another camper had a 30ft. TT and he was by himself. He asked us to spot him while he backed in. A beautiful 2016 TT with three slides. I call it the mansion on wheels. Later he lost his cell phone and I walked over to his TT and called his #. The phone rang in his laundry basket. We enjoyed talking to him about his paving co ect.
