Just purchased a 1994 22' Funchaser. My state ( New Mexico ) requires the VIN to be stamped on the frame. However, the only place I can find the VIN is on a sticker/decal on the left front of the camper. This VIN does correspond with the one on the title.
Does anyone know for sure if HI-Lo stamped the VIN on the frame of the trailer during the 1994 year or only provided a decal/sticker on the left front of the camper?

The vin is stamped into the top of the frame on the passenger side behind the propane bottles on mine. Can't be sure about yours tho. It has been painted over so is a bit hard to see. If you can't find one, Find someone with a set of metal stamps and stamp it in yourself. Who will know. Metal fabracation shops, welders, and aircraft mechanics may have the stamps. As a past aircraft mechanic I have a set.

You can sometimes find it on the inside of one of the cabinets.

I cant find it any where on my 95 except the sticker on the side. However the front frame has been painted several times. On the 2209 it is on top of the frame behind the propane tanks.
You might contact JR Repair or the other place that has Hi-Lo parts and they might know if it is stamped on the frame and where.
