water damage on 2004 camper

Have a 2004 Hi-Lo tow-lite, we have water damage to the upper half, of trailer. Located at the bottom "chair rail" area in the bathroom, behind the shower, and continues around most of the upper part of the trailer. How do we fix this, can it be done without taking the upper part of the trailer completely off?

Towlite wall dammage

I,m not an expert on towlites as I have a classic that I had to restore. The towlites have to have the trailer skin peeled back from the outside then you do tearout and wall rebuild.railrebuild. I called JR in Buttler Ohio to get advice. This how it would be done at the factory. They would disconnect the cables and use a crane to lift the top half off. All the walls would be stripped to the skin. The skin would be treated with a sealer on the inside. Any metal would be treated for rust. Theyn use some kind of epoxy to laminate, underlay styrofoam and paneling together. The work would be guaranteed for one year Look under off topic 1990 25ft Classic restorationand the cost would be $1350 depending on the size of your Rv,could be more.Pictures and descriptions are included. You have to decide if you want to spend the Hrs. necessary to do this repair and the $. See previous posts on doing towlite wall repair and pictures. Best of luck with what ever you decide.

A 2004 Towlite has and aluminum frame, should be able to repair it from the inside same as you did Sam on your classic. Only the Towlites from the mid 90tys had all wood framing. It's from the first Towlite which I think was 1993 to 1997 and possible a few in 1998, that had all wood framing. My 2009 has an aluminum frame.
Look at the 2004 Brochure in the library.
