water heater

The little bit I can find out about this water heater is to turn on remote switch and wait 15 seconds for it to go out ... WHAT SWITCH and where is it ??? I have a 2805C There is a switch panel with lights on the side of the refrigerator. I flipped the one marked AC water Heater and it stays on ?? Never off after 15 seconds ... is this the correct switch and if so what now ????

There are two basic types of water heaters: conventional pilot light, and electronic ignition or (DSI).

Take a look at these videos. They will help you figure out which one you have and how to operate it:

Don't flip the AC/lightning bolt switch on without the WH being filled unless you want to burn out the heat element. Open the outside cover on the WH and see what the make and model is so you can locate a manual for it. Also, look to see if there is anything like a control board with wires attached. If so, you have electronic ignition. If not, you probably have a manual gas control knob and have to light the pilot light, there should be lighting instructions posted there somewhere nearby. If you watched the videos, you will see what I mean.
