I have noticed a orange colored power like stuff at a couple of places around the edges. ???

???? Could you give a little more specific information as to location, etc.?

The orange powder stuff might be the old bulb seal disintegrating. The center of the old bulb seal looked like it was some type of foam in middle. I replaced mine with new bulb seal that I ordered from J&R in Ohio.

I looked at the seal it doesn't look the same color. It's located at the front corner door side on the edge that moves down

I wonder if someone applied some of that expanding urathane foam insulation? If it's exposed to sunlight, it turns orange and becomes powdery.

I think Robin may be right. Bummer but I guess it is 14 yrs. old. Replacing the seal is that something I can do at home?
