What to replace interior roof membrane with

Ok ..outside roof redo check ... rotten wood blocks and reinforced aluminum track check .. demo interior rotted wood and styrofoam on section on ceiling and walls .. installed new hydraulic cables check

2 questions and I did read tons of threads on forums but
1) if interior roof section is now bare aluminum what type if any vapor / moisture barrier to spray or install prior to new styrofoam ? I saw bondo? Or can you use a any type of sprayed on barrier or regular roofing membrane ?

2) ok after styrofoam replaced in roof section and wall sections and do not want to go paneling and not a good idea to use rubber or plastic paneling .. can you say attach a track and use soffit material or how about decorative metal .. put in furring strips and nail and glue an alternate material up ? Would hide a multitude of sins ? Anyone done anything like that versus paneling ?

Thanks

I had to replace the roof in the back area of my HILO. I replaced three steel beam roof supports and for the ceiling of the roof, I use 1/8" plywood and covered it with a white vinyl cloth. A little pricy but had to replace it with something. Then bought roof liner contact cement and sprayed it on and tacked the cloth to it. Several years and it is still good.

Repairs

The interior walls on a Classic consist of the fiberglass,1/8th underlay the sheets of foam, then 1/8th paneling. Our paneling was Georgia Pacific and it had the washable wall paper on it. Keep in mind about not adding weight. Look on the internet at H.D. for ceiling covering ides.

Interior membrane

Mine is a travel lite and roof is aluminum . So what is the membrane that goes between interior of aluminum roof and styrofoam ?

I know that I worked on a classic, but nothing I saw showed that there was anything except aluminum glued down to the thin plywood sheet directly beneath it on the roof. So the stack looked like (outside —>in)
-Aluminum roof
-Plywood
-foam
-plywood
-Final thin wall-paper like stuff across the whole thing that makes it look ‘finished’

And lots of glue holding that sandwich together.

My 2007 17ft TowLite has the same aluminum roof construction. I discovered this when I replaced the Mattel toy fan with a FanTastic fan. There was nothing between the aluminum and the plywood.

Glue used in ceiling repair.

GaryK52 rebuilt his entire trailer. He used four ounces of Gorilla glue and two tubes of heavy duty liquid nails. I have since been told that Locktite makes a decent caulk. Could be a glue. Walmart has the best prices on these things.

Mine is a fun lite and all it had was a thin 1/8" layer of foam which was cut short so the aluminum and the steel actually made contact. I did not pull the entire roof off, but I did pull both sides back and duck taped the steel and layed the aluminum back down and patched all the little tiny holes that was caused by the steel touching the aluminum.
