Here is our new to us Hi-Lo, any information would be very helpful. It is very solid with minor issues. Still has the original hot water heater that works.

yes in the picture where you can see the AC, the bath room area is behind that corner wall facing us. It is a stool in a shower pan with the shower had held hooked to the bathroom sink. So you can actually sh&t, shower and shave all at the same time LOL

That is really nice. I also have a newly acquired 68 20 footer (Model 208). But my toilet/shower area had been remodeled (Bubba-fied) by a previous owner. I would sure like to see more details on how the solid wall works, if you have a chance. I am trying to source a replacement shower pan, toilet, holding tank combo before addressing replacing the upper partitions.

I have also been curious about the galvanized inset panel visible in your first picture. It is on the lower curb side front corner.

I downloaded an owner's manual from this site but it does not shed light on either of these things.

Hillbilly, that looks like a fun unit! Is that surge brakes on the front? Interior looks to be in great shape. I'd have a blast with redoing the outside, keeping it all original. Have fun with that piece of Hi Lo history, and welcome.

Ok I will try to answer ya'lls questions the best I can. VPed it is not a solid wall around the "bathroom". the wall running the length of the camper has a latch that when you undo it the wall then folds in over the stool, then you lean the across wall towards the rear, and then there is a mini wall from there to the outside wall that hinges back towards you. Then it lays down over the bathroom.

The panel you are wondering about is polished stainless (my guess) and that is where you fill the fresh water tank.

Treeclimber, yes it has surge brakes but the guy said they didn't work.....I will attempt that after we get it the way we want it.

As for the redoing it, we are planning to repaint the upper and lower panels back to gold, and what is white now will then be red. And polishing everything else out that is supposed to be shiny. Thinking about painting the wheels red as well and adding a baby moon hub caps to them.

As for the inside, it is to dark for us, so we are thinking white to brighten it up, red on the door and drawer faces with black handles and hinges. Either black & white squares on the floor or something like that.

I am also looking for any leads to any manuals or specs for a 1968 Model 200 too. Thank you

Thanks for the explanation on the wall and the extra picture. I will try to redo mine close to the original function. I see now where the water connection is in your first picture. Mine just has the metal inset panel without any connections or penetrations of any kind. Obviously, I can also see the inside of the panel under the booth bench and can see the metal panel has no function. My city water connection it towards the front, right next to the towing A-frame part. I may also wind up copying that feature when I re-plumb the trailer.

Thanks to help from those on this site, I downloaded the manuals. They are appropriate for the 68 as well as it seem very little changed from year to year. There is not all that much in the manuals from back then anyway, apparently.

Yeah, the bath area is pretty tight. My '94 Funlite has the same setup. It was so tight I had my husband pull out the sink.. The shower pan is still there so if I want to take a sponge bath I can. I just have to buy a huge sponge. Lol!
