I'm the second owner on the Hi-Lo, and have had it for seven years. The Chevy has 203,000 miles on the original engine.

Is that a crack running vertically on your front end cap? If yes, how have you sealed it?

That "crack" looks like your solar panel lead wire to your battery? pic 5 looks like a cool fishing pole holder, where did you find it?

They are getting pretty easy to find now, usually in Fly Shops.

Yeah, it's not a crack. The previous owner cobbed on a solar panel and wired it to the battery. I've since cut off the wire, because the panel was trickle charger size. I picked up a 65 watt 4 panel PV kit from COSTCO for $300. I set out the panels when I'm dry camped for more than a couple of days. It takes about 20 minutes to put the package out, versus mounting the panels to the roof, but I can correctly orient the panels for maximum charging.

The trailer tows fine in the snow. I don't go faster than 25, and just enjoy the drive. Just remember that the trailer ground clearance is less than your vehicle. In deep snow, it tows like a snow sled! Periodically, check under the trailer for loose wiring and also the drains that are low enough to take a beating.
Plowed single track roads can be a problem, as the trailer is a little wider than your vehicle. So watch out for the iced-up roadsides, as they can put a hard hit on the front of the trailer and crack the fiberglass.
