I've never seen one of these. Very clever.

I never knew Hi Lo made a treadrop!
Looks comfortable to me, thanks for sharing.

I don't think this is a HiLo brand. It's a neat design though. And, Mike - you're welcome to our forum.

This was made by HiLo.

I saw this at an RV show years ago. It had some trim falling off. As I recall it had no bathroom. Probably only mad a few of these.

It was made by Hi-lo in 2008. They made a few different models primarily for the RV show circuit. I’m not sure they were ever meant to end up in private hands.

Thank you guys, fir correcting me. I thought I had researched it properly, but I clearly didn't!

I saw one post that claimed it did not have a gain in the fuel economy by lowering the top, because the frontal area did not change. I disagree with that. Based on my knowledge of aerodynamics, the more streamlined, teardrop shape should provide some benefit because it minimizes the stagnation area that forms at the rear of any shape moving trough the air which adds turbulence and drag. The frontal shape is not a "flat plate" either, which should reduce drag too.

I love quirky campers and this one definitely fits the bill. We joined the Tearjerkers teardrop camper club and are attending a ,”puddle” as they call it later this month. We are hoping to attend some Hi-lo events and maybe even slip into some vintage RV shows. It seems to draw a crowd at every campground so we are trying to preserve it in its original condition with no modifications.
