2292L Funchaser and 1996 Toyota 4Runner 4X4

Black tank dump
 

Hi, I'm sorry to bother you, but I have a friend who just bought a 2292L Hi Lo that he thinks is a 1991. Based on the model number, it looks like a 1992 to me. His problem is he can't find the dump lever for the black tank, he says there is only one pull valve for the grey tank.

I would appreciate any advice on the matter. I am going to look at it for him this Saturday. I own a Holiday Rambler Diesel pusher and know nothing about travel trailers although I suspect I might know more than him.

It could have been built as early as July 1991 and would be called a 1992.

There has to be a black tank dump valve somewhere. Depending on the model it could be separated away from the gray water valve. It would normally be very close to the toilet location.

It may be that he has not looked close enough; it would not meet plumbing codes if it had just one valve for both tanks. I do remember having an older RV that the valves were not in a single configuration, rather they were separated by several feet of black pipe. They did empty into a singular outlet though. Best advice is to crawl underneath and locate the gray water and black water tanks and follow the outlet pipe to the valve.
