My 1968 HiLo (HiLo purists, look away)

Here are some pictures of what I did with my trailer. All modifications are reversible if I decide I want the trailer back, although I doubt that will happen. I am willing to part with the items I removed in case someone is restoring their trailer (axles, surge brake, lighting, original commode, original water heater).

Looks like a practical redesign! And, you appear to have retained the "lowered" enroute configuration too. Nice work!

Repurposing
I've been known to repurpose, restore and refinish some things in my life time. I know you had fun doing this project. The best projects are made with love. I wouldn't be suprised if someone had use for the parts you removed. All you need now is warmer weather for your adventures.

No need for warmer weather. The water in the background is Elephant Butte Lake this past weekend. The weather was great and the heater works fine.

Rv adventures
We are freezing up her in Niagara Falls. High winds and bad wind chills. In the 20s in the daytime and single digits at night. Every year we get our furnice tuned up. It is only six years old. Good thing DH is handy as he was able to put $100.00 worth of parts in the furnice. The tech wanted $500.00 for the job. Can you say rip off. Much of the country is in an Artic deep freeze. Sen up some warm air.

I would trade some of our warmth for some water. The lake is at around 5 percent of capacity and has been low like that for years.

We can send you down some of our Lake Erie lake effect snow via airmail.
