A picture of beauty!

Pagosa Springs had not had a fireworks display in two years because of the dry conditions. This year after the rain they have been having, the city fathers decided to go for it! Maybe because of the absence for two years or whatever, the colors just seemed so vibrant and colorful. Thought you might enjoy a look-see

Thanks for reminding me!

This picture was not taken by me. This picture was taken by Mike Pierce who works for the Pagosa Sun newspaper. I took a picture just like this, but mine was not as colorful or professional. I will try and find out what brand of camera he is using because it sure does better than mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Type of Camera used

Greg,
Here is the information sent to me concerning this gentleman's pics:

Michael Pierce Wayne, for my sports and action images I use a Nikon D4. For portraits, commercial work and things like this I use a Nikon D800. As long as the work is properly attributed to me, and not posted by anyone as their own work, I don't mind people sharing. Thanks!

Byrd, I couldn't stand the Ohhh's and Ahhh's you got with your picture from the 4th in Pagosa so I'm sending along one I took at the parade in Chetek. Attachment 3325 I'd like to tell you it came from high-dollar camera, but it was my iphone and the dog wasn't very patient . . .

Thanks for taking the time to ask, Wayne. Looks like that Nikon D4 is a $6,000 camera so a little out of my price range! Guess I'll stay with 12 year old Olympus for now . . .

Now that is a Patriot!

That dog is showing his true colors!
