Getting our HiLo inspected.

Decided to call my HiLo Dealer and book in a inspection apt. for May of 2012.Couldn't get the day I wanted. Offered me a saturday apt. which I declined as DH is retired and we save saturday for working people. Got an apt. the next week. Wow thousands of new rvers getting hard to book six months out. Correction May of 2021. Typo

Yeah,

Tell me about it. My main incentive for camping was to get away from crowds....now it seems I'm jumping in the middle of them.

Even the dispersed camping is getting hard to find.
The woods are full of new Camping World trailers and new TV's.

Agree with your comments.

I get two camping magazines and frequently check out several camping websites. No suprize that it is hard to get reservations. I have to figure out to the day nine months to get reservations. Weekends are hard to get. Camping isn't what it used to be.

Typo #2 correction: I assume you mean May of 2022 (if not, you're late for your '21 appointment!). :D

Good luck with your inspection next Spring!!

Have made round trips to central Oregon & western AZ / CA central coast in the last 6 weeks - never seen so many new Airstreams towed by new pickups and SUV's.

Airstreams

Dh is a retired sheet metal fabricator. That is how i got interested in the Airforums Website. They have been around since the 50s. I'm glad i never would have the $ for say a 25fter. Something like $100.000. The newer ones come with an all electric ref. and lots of electronics. Tankless water heater. A severe lack of quality control and then at least six month wait for a warranty apt. I realize many folks are dedicated owners. About two years into ownership you will see many for sale. Most likely payments on the new Airstream and payments on the new truck.
