Default Pros and cons of tipouts

This topic came up at our campout. If we were to upgrade I think I would like a bigger rv with a tipout as there are three adults in my family. Does the tipout weaken the wall?

I have not heard of any problems with wall strength. My wife's cousin has a 2409T with the tipout and he has had no problems. I never heard my dealer friend speak of any problems. You will get a heavier and higher sitting trailer because of the tipout.

We have the tipout feature on our 2004 31ft Hi-Lo. We've never had any problems with it. I love it. Gives us more seating room and even have put a table up in front of it for more eating space.

It like the difference of night and day. I had a 30' trailer before I bought the 2510 with tip out and there is no way I would have a trailer without one
