Broken cable replacement
Hello fellow Hi-Lo brothers and sisters
I just purchased a cable kit from Midget RV to replace the snapped cable on my 2006 Hi-Lo 24 towlite does anyone know of a DIYinstructional video or guide on how to do this replacement procedure? I’d be very grateful. I am thinking of parting with my beloved trailer but want to fix and clean before potentially selling. Preparing to move out of California regretfully. |

Someone posted a good description on the forum. He replaces all four cables at the same time. I read then printed it so I could reread as I progressed. I did purchase a cable cutter but did not pull the cable tight enough when I installed it. I should have used a come-a-long to pull the cable tighter. I did take off the wheel for better access to the cable adjustments. Find the post, read and reread it or print it out like I did before starting.
