Lift Cable Adjusters - Which is Which?

I've found the adjusters on our 1703T. As I look at them from the left side, it is not obvious to me which one is for the front left cable, etc. I don't want to adjust the "wrong one" and break something :(

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Luisa48, According to your manual, as you look at the adjusting lugs, it is the top left. Using two 9/16" wrenches, hold the inner and loosen the outer nut. Tighten the inner nut to raise the top. Use caution to prevent raising it TOO much. It may take quite a few turns to raise it, I start with about 3 full turns, raise the top to see where you are and re-adjust as necessary.

Thanks Treeclimber,

We don't have the manual. Got one on order though.

Could you tell me the allocation for the other three lugs, please?

Luisa.

L, In the list of the forum, you'll find the library section near the bottom. There you'll find
"Hi Lo Manuals", click on that and find the manual closest in year to yours. These manuals changed very little from year to year. Most of the cable rigging never changed.
As you look at the lugs:
top left is curb-side front
bottom left is street-side front
top right is curb-side rear
bottom right is street-side rear
When you find the rigging diagram, take a close look at it and you'll see the cable and pulley system is quite simple and you'll see the reason for the NEED to lubricate everything
