Lubricating cables and pulleys

I just purchased a 2005 Hi-Lo and see that the service manual indicates lubricating the cables and pulleys with WD 40. Wiping the cables down and lubing the pulleys underneath shouldn't be a problem, but how do you lubricate the upper pulleys? Do you have to remove molding from inside the trailer? How often do they need lubed? Are cables still available at JRs? Can they provide them knowing model and year? Thanks, :)

I unscrewed the molding on the inner (lower) body. It is an easy task except for the bathroom area in our 17 ft trailer. Here, I just lowered the top a bit and then, from inside, sprayed the pulley with the WD-40 can in the outside gap. You can see the pulley with a mirror here. In fact, you could probably do it this way on all the lift pulleys.

BTW, my cables and the guide rod all looked fine when I lubed everything - finally!
