Need Help Rebuilding Lift System
Hello,
I am asking here because I could not find how to start a short post. I have a 2805C and just finished a rebuild of the lift system. I mistakenly used a brass fitting for the high pressure line. Just before the the system latched in place I lost pressure and had a big mess to clean up. I now know you cannot use a brass fitting with steel tubing. My question is what is the part number and where do I get this compression fitting that goes to the lift-cylinder? Thanks in advance. Pierre |
Hi, Pierre - I moved your post to its own thread because it should get better attention this way. I don't have your answer, but I suspect someone like Treclimber or another member who has experience with this will be able to help you.
I don't suppose you have the old parts from when you started the rebuild? I'm sure if you took those in you'd be able to find a match. As far as where you could go to get the part, perhaps an internet search for local places that do hydraulic system service might yield results? - Jack |

So I used large prebuilt brake line bent by hand I think it’s close enough. Try to use steel coated.
I think I had to brass coupler and Teflon tape |
