Default Raise on electric without battery

Can I raise my Hilo if I plugged into electric but don't install the battery.

Nope! The Amp output of shore power through the Converter is no where near the amount needed to raise the top. The lift motor needs the high Amp output of a working battery to raise the top.

Thanks Jack. I was hoping. Waiting for our son to put the new battery in.

If you can get to the battery cables, you can connect a good battery to them using jumper cables (maybe from your tow vehicle). It should go up this way. Some members have attached heavy cable extensions to their battery to make this approach easier. If you do this, make sure you insulate the ends of those cables to prevent them from touching anything or each other in a way that would create a short.
