Have a 2006 Hilo do I need to service the hydraulic parts of the camper ? If so how and where ..ty

Hello, homeoffice. I moved your post out of the other thread in the introduction section to this area, where you should get better responses.
You should definitely inspect and lubricate the cables and pulleys, yearly. You'll have to remove the inner trim strips off the lower half to get to the area where the cables go over the top pulleys, and that's where rusting and breakage normally occurs. Replace any cables that are frayed or rusting. There's not a lot you can do to the hydraulic system itself. You should check the fluid level in the reservoir with the top down. It should be within 1" of the top of the reservoir. You can make a "dipstick" to check this level by bending a straw or wire to a right angle so you can get it in under the battery cover with the top down. - Jack |
