1985 fun maker axle size?
 

Hi,
Does anyone know what length axle I need to replace the rear axle on my 1985 19' Fun Maker?

I believe the original is a 4" drop axle 2500# with tapered spindles. Can I replace with a 3500# Dexter and if so do I need to alter it in anyway? I had a major bearing/wheel fail on the highway. I'm in AZ traveling from WA to AL and am trying to just get there at this point. (The rear cables also snapped on this trip so I can't even raise and lower the trailer anymore on this trip, it's a steep learning curve...)

Sorry for your troubles.
 

I don't know the answer to your axle question. If you can get some help to lift the HiLo top up then a friend of mine used big clips to make the cable work. In other words clamping the two broken ends together.
