PSI rating of 2009 optional alloy wheel

Does anyone know what the PSI rating is for the alloy wheel that's available as an option for 2009 Towlites?

Why would the alloy wheel have a PSI rating? I believ the tire should/would be the weak link, and should have the PSI rating it can stand, on the tire, each brand and model of tire could be rated differently...

From reading the various threads on tires and wheels, I'm lead to believe the wheels also have a max PSI rating.

I understand Maxxis has a 15" D rated tire that will fit a 15" wheel. However, the wheel must be able to take 65psi pressure. Many of the steel, and presumably alloy wheels of that size can take only 50+ psi air, which means a C rated tire is all that can be used on them.

If the old hands on here know differently, I'm all ears.

You are correct Atlee. While I don't know the pressure rating of the optional rims, you are correct in your other assumptions. The steel wheel sthat came with older hi-lo trailers were the sticking point when upgrading tires.
