battery/pump cover
My 2206 towlite had a thin gauge alumium cover over the batteries and pump which was dented and hiting the protective covers on the batteries. With scrap metal I had, (cheaper than alumium diamond plate) I used 16 gauge galv.metal and claded it with baked on color 24 gauge metal roofing material. I removed all of the alumium rivets and replaced them with stainless steel rivets. I also notched and hemed the edges around the WDH brackets that bolt to the frame so the cover sits flat.

That was a great idea Les! Post a picture if you get a chance.

Nice Job! What's your next project? ;)

Fantastic job, Les! You need to put your sheet metal equipment in your tv and come to the annual HiLo rallies. You can make a lot of people happy with your work. On a scale of 1 - 10, with 10 being the best, I would give you a 14!
