DIY Re-Caulking Job
So......
I finally got around to cleaning and re-caulking my camper, hey, how hard could it be? HaHa!!! I'm sure I'll be asked if I built this camper myself because of the diy'er, hillbilly looking way my caulking job gave it!!!! I guess caulking is kind of like spray painting cars or welding......it takes a lot of practice to get really good results. I would post pictures but I'm not going to deliberately take part in humiliating myself!!! Time to clean it up again and take it to someone that's had a lot of practice.:p |
You can do it!! Blue painters tape and the appropriate solvent will make up for lousy technique!!! I'm proof!!

DIY caulking job.
Watched DH does this many times. Use a good quality caulk. Slit the tip the required amt. of degrees. Have a wet rag handy. Wet your fingertip and smooth out the caulk. Carefully remove the blue painters tape before the caulk dries. Some wet their fingers with windex then smooth out.
