Default DIY Re-Caulking Job

So......

I finally got around to cleaning and re-caulking my camper, hey, how hard could it be? HaHa!!!

I'm sure I'll be asked if I built this camper myself because of the diy'er, hillbilly looking way my caulking job gave it!!!! I guess caulking is kind of like spray painting cars or welding......it takes a lot of practice to get really good results.
I would post pictures but I'm not going to deliberately take part in humiliating myself!!!

Time to clean it up again and take it to someone that's had a lot of practice.

You can do it!! Blue painters tape and the appropriate solvent will make up for lousy technique!!! I'm proof!!

Default DIY caulking job.

Watched DH does this many times. Use a good quality caulk. Slit the tip the required amt. of degrees. Have a wet rag handy. Wet your fingertip and smooth out the caulk. Carefully remove the blue painters tape before the caulk dries. Some wet their fingers with windex then smooth out.
