What would be a good skirt replacment
I have a 2000 27' Classic and when I got it, there was a piece of skirting missing from the entry side of the trailer. The piece missing basically runs from the edge of the door all the way to the front. I know that finding a factory replacement piece for this will probably be impossible, so does anyone have an idea???? Thanks.

I would start at a good RV repair shop. They might have a source for the light guage aluminum in the proper color. If not in the right color you could paint it yourself with a product that will adhere to the aluminum. My front panels where pretty beat up from road debris coming off the Tacoma so I used truck bed coating on them and am thinking about doing the all of the skirt.

A sheet metal shop may be able to help you, or an HVAC person that works with sheet metal also.

I went by the sheet shop today and the had a thin sheet metal material that is used by dirt track racers for their cars. they have a lot of different colors and its seems to be pretty thin and easy to work with. Think that will work?

It can't be any thinner than what HiLo used. It should work.

Just get Aluminum, I don't think galvanized steel would be a long term fix.

My towlite had damage,I used my trunk lid to repair the side(gray anodize alumium) and added alumi-brite diamond plate on the front. |
The skirting on my 2001 Classic is all plastic, not metal.
