Question Help with pressure system on '95 FunChaser

We can't seem to get the system on the fresh water tank to pressurize. The system blows out the plug on the connection where a water line would go and forces out the water from the tank. There is no cap to put on. Not sure what is wrong.

Not sure about that model but newer models have a check valve in the pump system, It prevents water from going out the external hose connection and also prevents water from going into the tank when connected to a external water supply. You are talking about when the internal pump is turned on?

Could you please explain this in a little more detail, I don't quite understand what you are talking about? Is it the line between the pump and the tank, does it happen when the pump is running...?

tdean, I don't know your abilities but I would unscrew the external water connection where the external hose supply connects, the check valve to prevent water from going back out that connection when the internal pump is running is either part of that connection or located in the line close to it. I don't know the exact location but I know it has to be there. To verify this you could call JR Repair and tell them that when the pump is turned on that water flows out the external hose connection, (this is what I understand is happening). http://www.jrrepair.embarqspace.com/
