Default Replace separate elec/gas switch with dual.

Now that I've been online shopping for my replacement heater element, I noticed this dual switch. Wouldn't take much to wire & would guard against the electrical switch (on side of heater & under the bench) being mistakenly left on.

Good idea?

Having physically looked at the rewire, I've concluded that the hassle doesn't outweigh the benefit. If I cant be bothered to bend down & check that the electric heater is on/off then I deserve to be forking out another $20 for an element.

Please ignore post.
