Default Outlets don't work on Battery Power

I have a 2007 24T Hi Lo. It has worked great for us when we go to an RV park and connect to shore power.

When the shore power is disconnected, the outlets do not work on battery power. I can run down the battery just fine with lights and fans. Nothing on the outlets.

I'm trying to recall where all the GFIs are to test them. I don't think the one's I checked had any power since I couldn't get the GFI to test (click).

Could it be an inverter problem?

Not sure what to check.

Any suggestions!

Thanks! Tim

After reading a few more forums, it seems that the outlets are only 110V powered when plugged into shore power and cannot run off battery alone.

Is that correct?

Totally correct, woody. If I use my little 1000W generator, I plug the shore power cord into it and that powers the outlets too, while charging the trailer's batteries through the converter. Can't operate big appliances off it, but Janet's travel hairdryer works.

Default Same type problem

Hi Tim! My problem was the top wouldn’t raise or lower unless it was plugged into shore power. After much time patience and grief we found out the problem was a DC circuit breaker which is located just next to the battery. One breaker worked and the other one didn’t and as soon as it was replaced the problem was fixed. I hope this helps!
