Problem With Exterior Trailer Lights

Hey guys I don't mean to change the subject but I have a 2204T and my rear tail lights are giving me issues. Seems like a bad/short/open connection on at least one wire. I've narrowed it down to the rear bathroom area; on the side of the cabinets there is a pipe that collapses up/down. Anyone address a similar issue? I'm thinking possibly a pinching of a wire or two when the camper goes up and down over time.

thatguy, I moved your post to its own thread, since it doesn't really apply to the thread you had it in.

We need some additional information to help you. Which lights are the ones effected? Is it the brake/turn lights or is it the tail running lights that are on when you turn on your Tow Vehicle's headlights. What is wrong with the lights? Do they not come on at all, or are they intermittent? Is it one side or both sides?

I doubt you have a "short". That would blow a fuse in your tow vehicle. My guess is, you have an open circuit somewhere. I had this problem due to a rat, that chewed the wire to a tail stop/turn light.

Do you have a multimeter to help you diagnose the problem? If not, you should get one. I also doubt you have a "pinched" wire in the pipe, but you might have a disconnected wire connection there. They are connected with wire nuts inside that area.
