Default Tipout or Expand-a-Room Help (Going 1/2 Way)

Need some help with my Tipout not going all the way... We started to raise it from the floor the other day and it went to the halfway mark and stopped.. Now it won't go either way.

Here is what I've done so far:
1. tested and replaced the two Auto Breakers next to the battery and hydraulics. (see attached photos)
2. Replaced the up/down switch next to Oven.
3. loosened the limiting switch Screw so that it let off the right switch and the motor ran until it hit the switch again..

I assume the motor runs in one direction Positive and the other in a Reverse polarity? I would welcome any thoughts or areas to test..

Thanks!

When you reach the halfway point, you have to manually pull it over center then continue with the motor.

You have to push up until your motor stops then manually tip it over. Then push down on your switch to reverse motor so the strap will extend and let it come down. Just do the reverse to tip it back in.

Thanks BigL... I’ve used the Tipout for years, its not the normal process, the motor just stopped... I raised the tipout halfway until it stopped and tipped it over.. reversed the switch and nothing.. Does not work either way..

Went half way, hit the limiter switch and then stopped working..

Are you getting power to the motor when you activate the switch? If yes, pull the motor and either get it repaired or get a new one. If you are not getting power to the motor, work back until you find where you are losing it.

Just re-read #3 on your original post, I don't know. Motor not reversing?

Check the limit switch on the lower side, if it is stuck the system thinks it is in the lower position all the time. john
