Tractor Battery usage?

So I was walking around rural King a few days ago and came across this battery. 1000 CCA and 1200CA (Part CFT4D). looks like the size of 3 batteries in length. Would something like this be more beneficial than having 2 12v batteries? I know nothing about batteries, so please school me. If something like this is too big, there were some that were the size of 2 batteries. These may not even be tractor batteries, but I assumed

Sorry, I had a pic of it, but it only shows the CCA and CA numbers, I will have to go back later to see what group/size it is to give better info.

Hi chicken. From your description, a longer battery would not fit in my trailer. Possibly, you have a much larger battery compartment, and if so, it could work in yours. I can only fit two Group 24 sized, 12V batteries in my trailer side by side (wired in parallel). I don't even have room for the higher capacity 6V golf cart batteries that could be connected in series to provide the necessary 12V.

Certainly, a higher capacity battery is better. So, I'd go for the highest capacity that will fit. But, keep in mind that NO battery likes to be deeply discharged, so try to keep any battery you install at near full charge at all times.

I was able to fit two group 27 batteries in my 2001 tow light. It is tight- but they fit. I also have mine in parallel but reversed with positive in front on one negative in front on the other- it makes it easier for me use cables or check with a multi meter that way.
