Flame roll out /fire ball light show in camper
My 2206 has an atwood/wedgewood vision stove/oven combo
The factory installed the aluminum tubing incorrectly from oven valve to oven burner The aluminum tubing from the oven valve to the oven burner was strapped tight onto the galvinized burner mounting plate This caused the aluminum and galvinized to corrode and a leak in the aluminum tubing filled the underside of the cooktop with propane With the oven on and you light the burner on the cooktop you get a nice ball of fire in your trailer I don't want this to happien to you, like it did me luckly no damage to us or the trailer We use the oven once or twice a year Check this gas supply line Be safe |
Glad you are all ok.

Glad to hear you and the trailer are safe, Les! I will surely add that to my "to do" list!
Thanks, |

I have the same exact stove you have so took a brief look at this but am unable to determine how to best inspect this tubing. Looking inside the oven, I can see about 3" of what appears to be aluminum tubing going to the oven burner, but how did you inspect the rest up to the oven valve? Did you have to slide the oven out? Thanks, |

The problem seems to be that the burner manifiold is cocked downwards instead of being level, forcing the tubing down against the top when installed. Not sure how to level the manifold easily so I'm going to put a barrier of teflon tape between the cook top and aluminum tubing to deter the galvanic action. I highly recommend anyone with this model stove inspect it! |

Curious as to whether you found the aluminum tubing bent down and in contact with the oven top? |

Glad some people are checking this for safety
After this repair I have not had any problems and have used the oven a couple of times already. |
