Default Fridge igniter not working

The igniter on our Dometic 2501 fridge is not sparking when we try to switch to running it on gas. From what I’ve been able to figure out I think the part called the reigniter is probably bad but I can’t find it from the outside of the trailer. Should I find it behind the control panel at the bottom of the fridge where the light should flash when we switch over to gas?

Nope - it will be on the outside, behind the refrigerator in the lower half. You should be able to get to it if you take off the access panel you'll find there. That exposes the burner assembly, which is somewhat complicated and the igniter would be in that. If you can find a manual for your refrigerator, it may show you how to get to it and replace it.
